As a Senior Sales Engineer Line Control & Process Optimisation, you are the expert on this topic within your group of colleagues. Furthermore, you are the conceptual and (process-) technical conscience of the Area Sales Managers about Line Control questions for fully automated production lines for industrial bakeries. You translate the customers' needs and demands to line control concepts that fit within the technical and commercial boundaries of the client. You write a functional design, a compliance overview, you discuss (conceptually) Software/IT architecture with internal experts about the line control system that has been designed by you. You are part of a multidisciplinary sales engineering team and you report to the Sales Business Manager.

Your challenge

In this position, you are responsible for translating the clients' wishes into fitting solutions, by using your expertise. You do this by doing a tender analysis with the client, your fellow sales engineers, and the Area Sales Managers. Within projects, you identify the technical conceptual, and commercial risks, you mitigate these and you translate them into line control concepts and a calculation. With your team and other internal stakeholders' feedback, your line control concept will be part of a successful system design and a winning offer.

Ben jij de kandidaat?

• You have a technical Bachelor's or Master's degree in e.g. Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Industrial Automation;
• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar technical and/or commercial role; primarily you have experience with line control concepts for automating processes;
• You have experience or knowledge of software and IT architecture, process optimization software, AI and IoT;
• You are commercially oriented and you enjoy working with customers;
• You are a strong communicator and presenter in English. German language knowledge would be a plus;
• You are willing to learn Dutch;
• You are a team player and you have a feeling for different cultures;
• You are willing to travel around 25% of your time to international clients or prospects.
• You are looking to move to the Netherlands for the long term.
